Although the Sixth Armored Division Association officially disbanded in 2000, the 9th AIB has expanded its battalion reunions to ALL division veterans and family members.

Like the 9th AIB below, which turned its battalion reunions into 6th Armored Division reunions after the Division Association disbanded in 2000, the 50th AIB has continued to have its own reunions, and also welcomes any Sixer from any unit. But because fewer and fewer veterans make it every year, they have decided to call this the last one.
